We want to go back to the twenties.

In a world where dating apps and casual hookups seem to be the norm, it can be hard to find genuine love and connection. But for those of us who long for something more, something deeper and meaningful, we know what we’re looking for.

We want someone who is not just a temporary fling, but a lifelong partner. Someone who understands us and accepts us for who we are. Someone who is not only attractive and charming, but also intelligent and thoughtful.

We want a person who is our best friend as well as our lover, someone who we can share anything with without fear of judgment or rejection. We want a home, a place where we feel safe and loved, where we can be ourselves and be accepted.

We want real love, the kind of love that makes our hearts skip a beat and our skin tingle with excitement. The kind of love that isn’t just about physical attraction, but about emotional connection and spiritual compatibility.

It’s easy to get caught up in the superficiality of modern dating, but for those of us who want more, we long for the romance of the past. We want to go back to the 20s, where relationships were more innocent and heartfelt.

We want to experience the joy of waiting for replies, feeling shy and nervous around someone we like, and experiencing the pure excitement of falling in love. We want to feel the chemistry between two people who are meant to be together, and revel in the joy of simple, joyful dates.

In a world where so much is uncertain, where everything seems to be constantly changing, the one thing we can hold onto is our desire for real love. And if we keep searching, we can find it, even in a world of DTFs and just flings.

Dreams of the Jedi, Starfleet, and Time Lords,
The Great Game and Narnia, we yearn for more.
The Shire, Hogwarts, Neverland’s fantasy abodes,
We long for adventures, to break from daily loads.

Yet some of us just want to travel back in time,
To the roaring twenties, an era so fine.
To dance to jazz, sip cocktails with grace,
Living life to the fullest, a nostalgic embrace.
